Natasha Allan sent her guest Hans Wagemaker and family away on a safari trip in the Kruger. Hans and family stayed over at the 4 star lodge Simbavati River Lodge in the Timbavati Game Reserve and the intimate Arathusa Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Alix, Hans daughter, shared the following guest feedback:

So sorry for the delayed reply! We got back from SA on Wednesday night and went straight back to work on Thursday. So haven’t got around to sorting through photos etc until this weekend. My dad is in Botswana and doesn’t have cell reception, so you will likely hear from him this week when he’s back
The trip was absolutely amazing and both of the lodges were beautiful. Simbavati is very rustic (but still completely comfortable) with wonderful staff and the BEST food. Arathusa was a bit bigger with slightly more luxury accommodation. The riverbed at Simbavati and the waterhole at Arathusa attracted lots of wildlife to check out during the day.
We saw the big 5 and so much more. We were lucky to see leopard 6 times. The guides were so knowledgeable and made an effort to show us as much as possible.
