Review of Arathusa and Simbavati – Client Feedback by Celeste le Roux

Celeste’s clients stayed at the Arathusa Lodge in the Sabi Sand area of the Kruger and the Simbavati River Lodge in the Timbavati region.
Hi Celeste

I am sorry I did not get back to you but we were still on vacation. We did not get home until Feb 6. And it has just been so hectic after being gone for so long that I have been doing nothing but catching up on things.

We absolutely loved the safaris and the lodges we stayed at.  The Rangers and trackers were thoroughly knowledgeable about the animals. And we did see all of the big 5.   The only complaint we would have is the tents we stayed in at Simbavati. We did not care for the fact that we had such a small room and did not feel completely safe in that room as there were small openings at the door in which we felt that small animals or snakes could get thru.  Maybe we were just over cautious being that this was our first experience for this. Other than that the lodge was great.

We loved Arathusa. Their accommodations and meals were great as well as their Rangers and Trackers.  There was nothing to not like about it.

Cape Town was also great. I just wish we had more time there.

I also want to tell you we used your guy that picked us up at the airport for a guide in Cape Town and he was wonderful. Great person and guide and we would have not seen what we did if we did not use him. He was also very knowledgeable with the history of South Africa of which was a great education for us.

Thanks again for a wonderful trip.  If you have any further questions let me know.
