Hi Liselle,

How are you? Hope this email finds you well!

Apologies for my late response, but since returning to work, it’s been nothing but playing catch-up … wish I was still on vacation:(
The trip to Botswana was amazing!!! I loved every minute of it …!!!

Camp La Roo La Tau and Chobe Game Lodge were my abosolute favourite for seeing animals and birds; the friendliness of the staff (especially La Roo La Tau … can’t say enough about Juan and Prisicilla. They were fanastic hosts!!!); camp / lodge layout; food; excusions; guide drives … basically the whole nine yards. Chobe Game Lodge staff were very helpfully and really took an interest in ensuring that all my photographic needs were met. They even arranged a half day game drive  to ensure that I got the full “photographer’s experience”. God bless them!!! Loved both Camp La Roo La Tau and the Chobe Game Lodge and would defintely return to both in a heart beat!

Camp Moremi was my second favourite … loved the tents and game drives! Finally, Camp Okavango … Still had a very nice time, because I took plenty of great photos of birds.

Excellent job on organizing the order of the camps / lodge Liselle! Great work! The photographic opportunities were fantastic!!! I was amazed at how often I was able to capture a leopard or lion. I thought for sure that I might not get the opportunities as often as I did. Once I have a few seconds, I would love to send a few of my photos … if that’s still okay? Just let me know.

Funny that you mention “longing for the bush” … I was actually going to ask you if you could look into quoting  another African safari for me. I hope that you don’t mind? This time to Tanzania and Kenya, same time of year (early November) next year. Would like to view big cats and birds for photography. Approximately 12 – 14 days. Same number of days per camp (3 – possibly 4 days if possible); and aproximately the same cost (if it’s a little more, not a problem – a quote is fine). Would that be possible?  Again, I would really appreciate any insight or recommendations that you might have.

Thanks again Lise! Botswana was amazing!!!

Cheers!

Diane
