Safari at Chapungu Tented Camp – Client Feedback by Natasha Allan

Natasha’s clients stayed at the Chapungu Luxury Tented Camp in the Thornybush Nature Reserve, Kruger Park.

Hi Natasha,

I just got back from South Africa late on Sunday night.  My daughter and I loved South Africa and she would like to move there!  It was beautiful.

Chapungu was better than the virtual tour.  Usually those tours look better than the actual so I had prepared myself!  The room was great and the beds very comfortable and the food was non-stop and delicious.  I probably gained a few pounds not being able to exercise in the bush!  We almost saw the Big 5.  We saw elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and the leopard’s den where she had a cub.  My daughter could see her ears in the den but I couldn’t.

But to make up for not really seeing the leopard, we saw 2 cheetahs—beautiful!  The staff were all very personable and accomodating, as you have also been.  Thank you so much.  I can try to send a couple pictures once I figure out how to do that!  I am not very techy!  Right now I have the pictures on a flash drive, downloaded from my daughter’s camera.  It was amazing how they drove off road right up to the animals.  Lions and cheetahs were laying only 5 feet from us!  Made me a little nervous!  But they seemed unaffected by our presence.

When we were in Cape Town, I kept an eye out for your office so that I could tell you thanks in person but never saw it.  We also loved Cape Town and the Garden Route.  Thanks so much for answering all my questions so promptly and being so very patient with me.  Have a great day in that beautiful country of yours.

Margaret
