“Liselle,

Wonderful trip…. the different locations and pace of the trip was near perfection.  We loved the progression of camps from Oddballs to Sango and finally Savute Safari Camp.  I think we would have like to do a city before the camps to recover from the international flights, but everything worked out great.

It was really nice to spend some time at Oddballs in the heart of the delta.  The makoro rides through the marsh were exceptional.  The animal viewing was limited but a great experience.

Sango was exceptional camp, my favorite.  We had great viewing of the animals in a beautiful reserve/concession.  The two most memorable moments were the large herd of zebras and an elephant that visited us in the camp at night.  The owner,  guides and employees were the best of any camp.  One afternoon just prior to sunset they rushed us out to see a young leopard that was feeding in a tree a few kilometers away.  As it was getting dark, the driver speed along the winding trail…. It was great fun and we saw the leopard.

Savute Safari Lodge was truly a 5-star resort with the most amazing elephant watering hole.  Thank you for getting us rooms 6 and 7, which was a couple of meters from the elephants.  After dinner, we spend hours drinking wine on our porch and watching the herds of elephants… Incredible experience.  The animals were exceptional at Savute including a pride of lions, one male, two females and four cubs.  We had seen the last of the animals on our list: zebras, elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, hippos, etc….

Vic Falls Hotel is a piece of history.  We have had the chance to visit a couple of “Grand” railroad hotels in U.S and Europe and the Vic Falls Hotel is one of the best.  The water going over the falls was very impressive.  We did the helicopter ride… just okay.  The Lion Walk was really fun.  After extensive negotiation with mom, the kids did the gorge swing but lost argument for the bungee jump.

African Elite Properties was a very nice condo in the perfect location.  With only staying for two nights, we didn’t get the full benefits of the condo.  We wish we had a couple of more nights in Cape Town, nice area.  Had a great time…

Peermont Metcourt was a smart move on the way home.  Our flight from Cape Town was 5 hours late and we would have missed our international flight.

All the transfers and connections were perfect…. made the trip worry free.  The drivers and pilots were all very nice and professional.  One of the pilots let my daughter fly the plane… very cool.

The trip was everything we had dreamed about… thanks for all your hard work over the past couple of years.  Once we download the pictures, I will send you a couple.  I only thing we wish is to move Southern Africa closer to Los Angeles J.
