Namibia and Botswana Safari – Client feedback by Janelle Thirsk

Hi Janelle,

I’m in the lounge at Johannesburg airport waiting for my return flight to Aus and thought I would give a brief comment on the trip. I’ll go into more detail when I’m home and will even enter some comments on Tripadvisor for some of the locations (I rarely bother to do this but this time I’m moved to want to help others to make good travel decisions).

The Namibian part was great with Sossusvlei, Ongava and Onguma the highlights. Botswana was terrific – Sango and Chobe the big hits but nothing wrong with Savute either. In South Africa both Africa on Foot and Arathusa were tremendous and I can’t recommend them too highly. Arathusa was the perfect finish (as you suggested) and so many leopard and lion sightings it was almost too much (but not quite!).

Lugging all the camera gear around was well worth it without any luggage weight issues anywhere. Many thousands of photos taken which will now require a few weeks of processing. I’ll send you a few in the not too distant future.

So, for now, just a quick thanks to you for all that hard work up front. You have a very happy customer!!

Cheers,

Rob
