We’re back and we loved every minute of our Botswana and Kafue Safari! Yes, we did get the room of our choice at Savute and had some fabulous viewing from it. The two camps in Zambia were absolutely super and we think that our favourite camp of the whole trip was Busanga. The animal sightings were outstanding including lions galore in trees, and what made it even better was our guide J.D. He was so enthusiastic and we think in fact that he enjoyed having us.
Now for our plans for next year – we want to see the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, but we need advise on the best time for us to go, bearing in mind that we don’t want it too hot or too crowded and to have super viewing. Is there such a time of year?
