During my stay at the nThambo Tree Camp in the Kruger’s Klaserie, I took a video to capture the sounds of the Kruger bushveld – I want you to HEAR Africa. No artificial lights and fluroscent lights litter your surrounds, which is why you will see nothing but an endless expanse of darkness on this video. My camera was pointed at the open bush !
The choir of sounds you hear is a chorus of frogs, birds and mammals. A lion and hyena solo can often be heard booming above the sounds of the night. This, readers, is the Kruger lullaby.
