Hi Brett,
Thanks for reaching out. here are some of my feedback for the trip:
1) Safari Moon Luxury Bush Lodge, amazing place. Amazing staff. I loved them. The Panorama trip was ok but wasn’t Wow perhaps because I wanted to see animals and not so much sceneries as I have beautiful sceneries and water falls in Canada so I wasn’t amazed by what I saw in the Panorama day trip.
2) Nsala Wilderness Camp, nice place however, they turned the power off on the 2nd day from 9 till 3 pm and it was hot ( the fan was off) and the Wifi was also off. I spoke with them and told them to keep the generator on because it is too hot and I need the fan and the Wifi, so they did. it was nice. The game drives there was nice but we never seen any big cats.
3) Umkumbe Bush Lodge , was super nice, lots of food. workers were super nice. the game drives were nice however no big cats seen. The only issue with Umkumbe is that the last night I think i had food poisoning and I was very sick all night and couldn’t go on game drive in the morning, I missed it as I was sick. I have reported it to the office and the lady gave me a form to fill.
Thank you for doing all the planning Brett, thanks for all the great advices about managing in Cape Town. It is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen. The people are so nice there.
