South African Safari – Client Feedback – Visited Chapungu Tented Camp, Arathusa Safari Lodge and Kings Camp

Where can I begin….Our South African Safari was the most exciting and awesome experience we have ever had. It went off without a hitch. We did get to see the big 5 plus much more. We did get to see 3 kills, one by a group of cheetah the very first time out, a group of 11 lionesses, and a leopard which had two cubs.

Chapungu Tented Camp was wonderful, felt like you were truly in the bush. The staff were wonderful and our ranger was a delight to go out with, very knowledgeable and great to hang with. The food was very good and the people we meet were great.

Arathusa Safari Lodge, was my personal favorite. Our cabin was right on the watering hole so we could read and watch the wildlife come and go. The ranger and tracker here were the best of all three. He knew were to go or find animals with the help of his tracker. Very professional and you knew he loved what he did for a living. Meet great people at the camp, the food was exceptional, especially dinner around the fire pit. I would differently return to this camp. The accommodations were wonderful.

Kings Camp, was the most Posh and they certainly knew how to roll out the red carpet. Coming back after afternoon safari and finding you soaking tub filled with hot water and bubble bath was heaven. Our last night since there were only 4 of us in camp… they provided a private dinner on our patio, incredible. The spa was delightful and took advantage of it. The staff was alway accommodating and friendly. The ranger here was good but did not give you a lot of information while you were riding around…. telling you what he was looking for, but very nice.

The Cascades was heaven….an exceptional room with a view. The meals were the best we had on the entire trip….the staff was extremely helpful and fun. We did stay at # 48 instead of 52, which was fine with us. We did get a tour of 52 and it was beautiful, but we really liked the interiors of 48, very warm. The weather here was rainy for 2 out of 3 days, but we had a great time anyhow (retail therapy).

Liselle, I can not begin to thank you enough for all you did to make this a true dream vacation. We will certainly return and use you again and recommend you to anybody wanting to do this type of adventure.

I must close by saying I did not know what to expect when we arrived in South Africa, but I can honestly say that the people of South Africa were the warmest, and kindest I have had the please to meet. I wish your country much success with the upcoming World Cup.
