Guests of Brett’s recently visited three of Southern Africa’s most iconic destinations, crafting a journey rich in contrast and unforgettable experiences. Their adventure began at the elegant Victoria & Alfred Hotel in Cape Town’s vibrant V&A Waterfront, where Table Mountain towered in the background and coastal charm set the tone. From the cosmopolitan buzz of the city, they flew north to the legendary Victoria Falls Hotel, stepping back in time amidst colonial grandeur and awe-inspiring views of the “Smoke that Thunders.” The final chapter of their journey brought them deep into the African wilderness at Senalala Safari Lodge in the Greater Kruger region – an intimate, authentic safari experience where Big Five sightings and tranquil nights created lasting memories. Here is their feedback:
Hi Brett,
Yes, we are back home and slowly getting back to our normal routine and sleep schedule. I think this trip was one of the best international vacations we’ve ever taken. All of the properties we stayed at were fantastic. The Victoria Falls hotel was a beautiful, historic property. The Victoria and Alfred hotel was in a great location in Cape Town. Each night we struggled to pick from the large amount of restaurants and entertainment. Our time at the Senalala Safari Lodge was the highlight of our trip. The staff there truly made you feel like they were friends or family that you had known for years. In all honestly, it was a little sad saying goodbye and leaving there on our last day.
Both of the drivers (Joyful and Steven) we had in the different cities were wonderful as well. Each one was incredibly friendly and knowledgable regarding the sites we visited. We felt comfortable and safe on all of the day trips.
Thank you again for all of your help and advice in planning this trip. It was our first time using a travel agent, and it was a great experience. I will definitely recommend Sun Safaris to anyone I know going to Africa in the future. Aaron and I both look forward to coming back soon and exploring other parts of Africa.
Best regards,
Andrew
