Guest’s of Brett’s embarked on a journey through some of Africa’s most iconic landscapes, this extraordinary trip blended the dense jungles of Uganda with the sprawling savannahs of the Masai Mara, offering a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience. Here is their feedback:

We all made it back safely, thank you for asking and checking in!

On to some feedback:

1. Gorilla Safari Lodge:we loved our stay here! The lodge had this perfect mountain rustic vibe but with top-notch service. I can speak for all when I say we were pampered day in and out. The staff went above and beyond every day to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we could need. The food was excellent, the chef was even kind enough to share some secret recipes with us! We have no complaints whatsoever!
2. Sentinel Mara Camp: We really enjoyed the vibe of this camp, I know that for my parents this is the kind of adventure they like – it was a first for me. The tents were large and comfortable with everything one could need and an excellent turndown service! The staff was always very attentive and the food, delicious! We did find the portions at times falling a bit short, more at lunchtime than dinner. And it was a fixed daily menu, no options to choose from. This may be the only “negative” which wasn’t really a big deal.The location and size of the camp were great, right next to the river resulting in an endless hippo parade! We had an amazing time on safari as well with Maitai (Dominic) – best guide ever.
3. Leopard Hill: While discussing which camp we liked most, we agreed we cannot compare LH with Sentinel as they are different. We loved this camp, the accommodation was superior but then again it’s not the same concept as Sentinel. And while the staff was lovely, I personally think the attention at Sentinel was superior. However, the meals here were great! Satisfying portions and we already received options to choose from which we appreciated. The safari experience here was amazing as well with Nash.
