Client Feedback: Whispers of Nature

Guest’s of Brett’s recently embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon, where nature and adventure intertwined to create unforgettable memories. Their journey began in the wild beauty of Botswana’s Moremi Game Reserve, a haven for diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. From thrilling game drives to peaceful moments on the water, each day offered new surprises. The adventure continued in Chobe National Park, renowned for its immense herds of elephants and picturesque river cruises. Finally, the trip culminated at the majestic Victoria Falls, where the sheer power and beauty of the waterfall created the perfect backdrop for the ultimate romantic escape. Here is their feedback:

Hi Brett,
I’m still in the air, but it is a long journey back to Miami!
We had the most wonderful time — thank you so much for everything. The entire composition of the journey was perfect, and it was our favourite trip of all time. Every transfer and travel experience was smooth. We will definitely be coming back for another safari!
For us, our favourite was likely Gomoti Plains. We saw incredible game, and we loved the balance of canvas tent with more modern amenities. The food was probably the best here. Hospitality etc was also exceptional.
Chobe Under Canvas was a good balance — definitely different types of game viewing. I think at times because it was a national park, there were 10 cars around something interesting which felt like it diminished the experience a bit. It was a great experience to stay in the mobile tent for part of the journey, but I think Dan and I would probably lean towards having the running water / fans in the future as it got quite hot in the afternoon.
Matetsi — the room and service was amazing. Best of anywhere. We didn’t do as many game activities here as we focused more on Victoria Falls, but the sunset cruise was great and the bush dinner was a real standout. We saw the most animals just outside the room here out of anywhere else so just staying in the room was pretty magical (herds of elephants every day coming and drinking from the pool etc).
I think for our next safari, we would love to spend more time in the Delta and then maybe do Namibia or South Africa with a blend of lodges and the permanent campsites. (And come back to Cape Town, which we actually really loved!).
Again, thank you. It was a truly memorable honeymoon and I know we will be talking about it for the rest of our lives.
Best,
Kirin
