Hi Brett,
We just landed in Barcelona this morning.
After the safari we stayed some days between Vilankulos and Bazaruto. Spectacular!!!
The safari went very well. I am very happy with the organisation, itinerary, the camps… and now that it’s all over, I have to confess that I am not an easy person. I travel a lot, I have been to many places, many countries and I do not like people to organise my trips, I always like to do it my way. This time I trusted your recommendations and I am more than satisfied with the result.
Umkumbe Bush Lodge: Nice and comfortable lodge. Well organised, nice tent, the game drives were not on a very large area but with many animal sightings.
The day we visited Kruger Park was perhaps the most disappointing day. It was no one’s fault; it was just a very hot day, 37ºC, so sightings were almost non-existent (I guess animals were hiding on the shade).
Nsala Wilderness Camps: we liked it, as it is almost like renting a private house, although the first night we were a bit disappointed with the rooms. Actually it has only three thatched chalets. The other two rooms, where we stayed the fist night, are on a main building and are not so cozy. Second and third night we moved to two thatched chalets. The best thing about Nsala without a doubt is the staff. They are very kind, friendly and dedicated to making the experience at the lodge the best possible. The game drives last almost as much as you want, the food is good and very abundant… the only down side is that there is not much to do between the morning and afternoon drives. The pool is really tiny if you have to share with other guests.
Safari Moon Luxury Bush Lodge: we also like the accommodation a lot. Very nice room and delicious cuisine.
Transfers between one point to the other were well-coordinated and drivers very nice.
In general, as I told you, I am very happy with your services. Lots of animal sighting though unfortunately for me, and once again, I have not seen a rhino…
I will definitely recommend you if friends want to visit South Africa or neighbouring countries.
Thanks again for all!
Best regards,
Sandra Bueno
