Liselle’s client, Allison Ohta, enjoyed a safari to the world-renown Victoria Falls and stayed at the historical Ilala Lodge. Her guests also enjoyed a memorable safari in Botswana at Tuskers Bush Camp in the Kwatale Conservancy, and Xobega Island Camp in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Her client’s safari ended off with a stay at the luxury Three Boutique Hotel in Cape Town.
Hi Liselle,
I just wanted to say thank you for helping me book my trip!! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The charter flight overland was a nice way to see the land from above and easy to even spot animals from above. The drive in between tuskers and xobega was worth every minute and probably the most exciting portion of our trip.
TUSKERS: Tuskers, unfortunately, was too dry for many animals to be around, but the pond they service in front of the camp allowed for leisure spotting. And I was lucky enough to have spotted a leopard on our drive. The staff there are wonderful and for first timers, I still enjoyed it
XOBEGA: Was a nice contrast, not much in variety of animals, but nice to see elephants in a different landscape. A bird lovers paradise.
ILala was a nice location, and convenient for walking to the falls.
In the whole of our trip, we did not see any lions. perhaps I’ll have to book a trip with you to savuti next!
Three boutiques: Was a lovely way to come back to the city. great breakfast, lovely staff. a nice neighbourhood.
I took a thousand pictures but these are two of my favourite from Tuskers. The elephant I swear was waiting for us on the morning we left the camp. It was a surreal moment as he lifted his trunk almost waving goodbye just before he quickly turned about-face and strutted away.
The other is the leopard I spotted on the side of our jeep. He was relaxing calmly under the tree before realizing he had been seen, at which point you can see him on his hind legs slowly retreating.
Thanks again,
Allison Ohta
