Four of Michelle’s clients enjoyed a Kruger safari to Tanda Tula in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve and Simbambili Lodge in Sabi Sand. Their feedback is listed below.
Dear Michelle,
Paula and I were delighted with the arrangements you made! Both Tanda Tula and Simbambilli were wonderful and we appreciated seeing them in that order: more prey and in larger quantities at Tanda Tula, more predators at Sambambilli. Also a bit more comfortable accommodations at Sambambilli, especially a door rather than a tent zipper, which was a bit difficult for me to tie down.
Overall much more luxury than I expected. And we got so close to the animals! I’ve attached a photo I took of my favorite animal. Not a particularly unusual photo. Our best images are videos I took including two rhinos play fighting just in front of our vehicle and 11 lions dining on a cape buffalo. Perhaps my fondest memories come from families: elephants with young who haven’t learned to use their trunks, wart hogs running in front of us, hyena mothers caring for their young.
Thanks so much for a wonderful trip. I can strongly recommend you!
Sincerely,
Alan
Hi, Michelle,
We are home and finally back on US time. It took awhile. The trip was absolutely amazing. Everything you booked for us was absolutely spot on. Both camps were delightful, the staff was wonderful and the food was excellent. At Tanda Tula, on our last night a hyena wandered in across the lawn right at dinner time – we had seen signs out on our game drives, but had failed to see him, so he wandered in just in time for us to see him at dinner.
We saw lots of antelope, giraffes, and elephants, one rhino and a couple of cats at Tanda Tula; at Simbambili we saw cats every time we went out, several rhinos, including a couple of young ones we saw several times together, as well as hyenas and wild dogs. It was everything we hoped for and more.
We had a great time in Cape Town; the drivers on our tours were very friendly, very helpful, and we enjoyed them as much as the tours. We had a bit of a hiccup in the condo I booked: the driver dropped us off, and we found out that the reservation I made online never made it to the resort. The one I booked was full, but they found us a room in another resort, which turned out to be a better location in terms of restaurant availability. It all worked out, but it gave me a bad moment. We let the transportation company know we had moved and the rest of it went off without a hitch.
I have attached a couple of pictures, and as you can see we had a wonderful time. (the picture of me is the one with the leopard and the hyena) Paula is already looking at a return trip, but I told her we have to wait until my budget recovers! I hope to working with you again in a year or so.
Again, thank you for everything!!
Kathy
