Michelle’s clients enjoyed a safari adventure to nThambo Tree Camp in the Kruger’s Klaserie and Elephant Plains in Sabi Sand. They sent through honest feedback and overall appeared to really enjoy the atmosphere and people at camp – especially nThambo Tree Camp.
Hi, Michelle,
We had such a tremendously good time! It took some convincing, but I got Tom to come and he thought it was amazing. Your recommended camps were as terrific as the ones in 2016. Each was different, staffs were friendly and helpful, food was so good (my scale told me just how good once we returned home), guides and trackers are amazing and we liked all of them a lot.
We were at nThambo, and the stairs to the tents really were a challenge for me (failed knee surgery). It’s a wonderful place to stay, but I would skip it on another trip. We liked being able to interact with Nadia on a daily basis; a very nice lady.
The one negative that some of us voiced was the dinners at Elephant Plains. Seating was in the boma, and the tables were lined up single file. The weather was fine, so we weren’t chilled, but the conversation was very limited. It’s also a lot more work for the staff.
I did attach some pictures. I love sunset/sunrise, and they are spectacular in Africa. I also like to catch the little guys or something with a different perspective. Between us, there are +3600 photos and videos!
We did the review, and kudos to you for all you did. We have been recommending you several times. Thanks, again, for all that you did. It was such a good trip!
