Natasha’s clients had an amazing safari at nThambo Tree Camp in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, and even enjoyed a romantic bar session. nThambo always pulls out all of the stops for their clients.
Wow! Absolutely amazing! We arrived in Hoedspruit airport and we were met by a lovely smiling Isaac ready to help. We had our bags loaded into the van and we made our way into the game reserve. We arrived at NThambo and we were
met by Nadia with some welcome drinks. We were welcomed in and straight away invited to have some lunch. We were shown to our rooms, which were amazing!
Absolute Safari luxury. The days kind of went: Safari, eat, sleep repeat! We were woken up every morning at for coffee and rusks. Then on to the first game drive of the day. Back to the lodge for breakfast. Then the day was pretty much ours
until lunch time and then time again to get ready for the evening game drive. Not forgetting the sundowners! The staff were amazing and made you feel like you were the only guests there. On our game drives we were lucky enough to see lions, leopards, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, zebras, kudu, wildebeest, hyenas, Jackals, elephants, blue wildebeest and a few cheeky mongooses. Add into that a few new creepy crawlies and an amazing range of different birds. The rangers and guides
were so knowledgeable, we learnt so much from them. We chose to do 2 of the guided safaris on foot. It was amazing being so close to everything but definitely felt safe with Isaac, our tracker.
We were surprised on one of our evening game drives by having a honeymoon sundowner setup just for the two of us. It was lovely. We were even accompanied by a few curious hyenas but knew the staff weren’t too far from us. We definitely felt special. Another highlight was the Bush Bar! Being in the middle of the bush with a few gin and tonics, some snacks and a fire burning…. It was absolute bliss!
I could really write so much more. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend Sun Safaris and NThambo Tree Camp. We definitely did not want to come home at the end of the week.
