Yes, we are home again after the most wonderful holiday. We all loved our time in Gaborone and the Netball Junior World Cup (although the Kiwis defeated the Aussies in the grand final!) The people of Botswana are so beautiful. Such happy, welcoming people.
Our time in Chobe at the Elephant Valley Lodge was absolutely amazing. What a beautiful place! Lots of elephants, giraffes, baboons, impala and other animals come to the waterhole at the lodge and it was wonderful to see them so close. We saw all the animals on the game drives in the Chobe National Park and boat rides on the Chobe River – Elephants and their babies crossing the river, cape buffalo & Water buffalo, crocodiles, zebras, giraffes, lions, hippos and many other animals, birds etc. It was just wonderful.
Our guide and all the staff at Elephant Valley Lodge were fantastic and we can’t speak highly enough of the whole experience. We all loved it and would certainly highly recommend it to anyone looking for an African Safari. Thank you so much for finding it for us.
