Liselle’s clients enjoyed a complete African experience in Botswana and stayed at Tau Pan Camp in the Kalahari, Kwara Camp in the Okavango Delta, Kwando Lagoon Camp and Lebala Camp in the Linyanti/Savuti region.
Here is their feedback :
Hi Liselle,
Yes, we had a wonderful trip to Botswana!
All four camps were very nice. Lagoon and Labala rival the best camps in the Kruger area. Every staff member we encountered was professional and obviously highly trained. The knowledge level and enthusiasm of the guides was exceptional.
We did 22 game drives and saw many new species of birds and animals. There were too many mature lions to count. We had 3 long visits with leopards at close range. Wild dogs, jackals, and bat eared fox were seen in abundance.
The walk with the bush man / san was a high point as was the boat trip to a heron rookery.
It has been a wet year in the Kalahari. The grass was high and rich. The number of animals enjoying it far exceeded our expectations. The high grass in the other areas sometimes made it hard to see / photograph the animals.
We saw a reasonable number of elephants. Not as many as we expected given the large population in the areas. I took way too many pictures and I’m beginning to sort and delete.
I’m beginning to think about next year’s trip. I heard some nice things about Namibia. I think it most likely that we will go to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. You can send along some options when you get a chance. I am not likely to make a commitment until after August 12.
Thank you for all your help and assistance with this trip. All your arrangements were spot on, as I knew they would be. We are looking forward to working with you again on our next trip.
