Liselle’s client, Gayl, enjoyed an intimate and personalised safari experience at the authentic Africa on Foot camp in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. She was lucky enough to enjoy a one-on-one guided walk through one of the Kruger’s most pristine private reserves. Evening game drives proved to be quite successful in terms of game viewing, while the walk provided a more on the ground, educational experience. Africa on Foot prides itself on the “real” safari experience and the camp provides simple luxury and good, home-cooked food. Below is Gayl’s review of her Kruger safari.
Hi Liselle,
I had an amazing trip thank you very much. I found the Africa on Foot camp so wonderful. The staff were fantastic, I liked the fact that we blended into the surroundings (the cabins and layout) without the five star fanfare. And the food was very good without being lavish, satisfying and plenty of it. The size of the groups was also very enjoyable. I saw four out of five of the big ones, no elephants sadly but I had seen them on my previous trip in their natural habitat.
I did a walking tour which was amazing, I learnt so much. No one else wanted to walk so it was just the guide and myself. We didn’t see any big animals, I had already seen them the previous day, but I learnt a lot about critters, the trees, the patterns of the animals. I really had a wonderful experience with nothing to criticise.
In fact my whole trip was amazing. I attended two weddings, the second being in Lesotho, which was a fantastic experience. Thanks again. I will have no hesitation in recommending your tour company for anyone wanting a real African experience.
Kind regards,
Gayl
