“A Fabulous Experience on Safari” was the feedback received!
Liselle recently booked the most fabulous safari for her guests Maryann and Peter! They had a Grand Tour of Southern Africa, starting at the luxurious Mombo Camp in the Okavango Delta’s Moremi Game Reserve. From here they headed into Zambia, first staying at Tongebezi Lodge in Victoria Falls. It was here that they had a chance to swim in the exhilarating Devil’s Pool – a natural pool right on the edge of the Victoria Falls!
After Victoria Falls the couple headed north into a very remote area of Zambia, the vast Bangweulu Wetlands, and stayed at Shoebill Island Camp. From Zambia they headed back to South Africa and spent some time in the Mother City, Cape Town, at the elegant and opulent, Cape Grace Hotel. From Cape Town, Maryann and Peter followed the Whale Coast to Hermanus to enjoy some whale watching and stayed at the lovely Birkenhead House.
Here is their feedback:
Hi Liselle:
We had a fabulous experience!!!
Of course, Mombo set the standard by which everything else was judged…..we saw everything there except rhino.
Tongabezi was also great, but in a different way. We sat in a natural pool
6 feet from where Vic Falls spilled over the edge (crazy, cold and wet, but been there, done that). Also so white rhino and our guide while there was really knowledgeable and very nice.
The Tiger Sanctuary, followed by Londolozi were both very interesting and well done!
The Cape Grace was convenient to the Waterfront and nicely appointed.
Birkenhead house was fabulous and we really enjoyed every minute spent on the property and in the surrounds!! The shark dive was great and the coastlines were very scenic.
It was difficult transitioning back to home life! The entire experience was nothing like we anticipated. Thank you for such wonderful recommendations and attention to detail. All the flights went like clock-work, no problems.
We will definitely ring you up again when we return to Africa and will recommend you to our friends if they plan a trip there!!
Thank you again,
Maryann
