Umkumbe Safari Lodge Shines

Natasha recently booked Stan and his family to stay at Umkumbe Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. They had a great time and also managed to spend sometime game viewing in the Kruger National Park, which shares unfenced borders with Sabi Sand. The Kruger National Park offers a very different, but equally fantastic, safari experience.

Hi Natasha

We had a great time in the Kruger. Umkumbe was fantastic with the accommodation and setting magnificent. Everyone was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay most enjoyable. It was small and very personal which made us feel at home. The Chef even planned his meals to our requests and it was an enjoyable experience. We even got lunch packed as we drove ourselves into the Kruger each day.

We managed to see a lot of animals including Lions which were off the Umkumbe property on our way to drive into the Kruger gate. Unfortunately no leopard or Cheetah.

The game drives were magnificent with drinks and snacks along the way. The nature walk was most informative and we could not believe the information we received along the way.
