Camp Shonga in Kruger was superb!
Natasha booked her guests at the stunning intimate Camp Shonga nestled in the foothills of the Lebombo Mountains on a private concession in the Kruger National Park.
Hi Natasha,
Hope this feedback is helpful.
Camp Shonga was superb and the food was gourmet standard. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The accomodation inside luxury tents was delightful. Wonderfully quiet when the generator was turned off!
Wandile our safari guide for all 8 trips was wonderful. He made sure we saw heaps of animals. There were cheetahs as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest etc and lots of the big 4. We just missed out on the leopard!
Suggested improvements to camp Shonga (we are being critical to be constructive here!)
Some reading material especially about the wildlife and the Kruger area for borrowing
Some cards /games, or talks /activities for non safari time
Remove the bees and keep pool clean and available to use
Less food – no exercise meant we put on too much weight!
Regards,
Keith and Sue
