Natasha prepared a trip for returning guests Mike and Fiona, where they stayed at Ilala Lodge in Victoria Falls . Fiona shared the following guest feedback:
“Hi Tash,
Having travelled to Africa many times, there was one place still on our wish list – Victoria Falls, therefore thanks to Natasha from Sun Safaris for making this wish come true in such great style. We decided on visiting the Zimbabwe side – firstly as everyone states that the falls are more magnificent from this side, and also the town of Victoria Falls is right next to the falls, which are within walking distance. We didn’t want a large hotel to stay in so thanks to Natasha for recommending the Ilala lodge for our 2 nights stay. The lodge was a hidden gem – beautiful setting, wonderful food, friendly staff and a fabulous outlook of the ‘smoke’ from the falls, I’d highly recommend this lodge, and as a bonus it’s also the closest hotel to the falls, about 5 minutes walk. There was even wildlife in the grounds – a family of warthogs, a bushbuck and plenty of birds. The falls themselves were amazing – well so much so that we can’t put it into words, but just to say that it is a sight that must be visited at least once in your lifetime.
A sunset cruise along the mighty Zambezi river, was a beautiful way to finish off our stay.
Next we flew back to South Africa and a 6 night stay at our favourite lodge
– nThambo Tree Camp in the Klaserie. A wonderful place in the African bushveld, with 5 luxury tents, so always nice and intimate. We are regular visitors here, and as always we had a fabulous time, seeing the big 5 on numerous occasions, plus African wild dogs on 4 separate sightings. The food, company and safari experience again was second to none, so we will definately be back again in May.
