Celeste arranged a superb tour of South Africa for her guests, and their feedback describes just what a wonderful time they had. From the Overberg, to the Eastern Cape, they enjoyed some of South Africa’s most remarkable scenery, hospitality, and of course, wildlife.

The holiday is over and we are back to Italy…just a few words to tell you that everything went well and the trip was fabulous!
We all LOVED South Africa and I am just writing to thank you and your impeccable organisation. I will write it on your blog/website also, if you wish, so that everybody in the world may know how nice and professional you have been.
Here are our comments in general:
– the car was perfect, the delivery punctual and the person very kind
– your road maps were precise and accurate
– your travel papers in general, very accurate and helpful, as well as your suggestions and tips
–Farm215: Excellent place. Loved the middle-of-nowhere feeling. Fynbos suites were great, as the great nature around, staff very kind, ideal as a first stop.
–Phantom Forest: Amazing suites, very charming and stylish, staff very kind. Not much to do besides staying up in the tree suites, but very relaxing. Maybe New Year’s eve I wouldn’t suggest to spend it there, nobody celebrates and you have the feeling you even disturb them asking about it…;)
–Shamwari Game Reserve: Great reserve, plenty of animals to see. Our ranger Philip, the best in the world – always smiling, gentle, professional and very experienced. LongLeeManor…nice hotel, however a bit impersonal, not so much in “African” mood – it could be anywhere else. Huge rooms and bathrooms, but…atmosphere is something else.
–Samara Private Game Reserve: Not so animal-crowded like at Shamwari, but a wilder experience! You walk with giraffes and cheetahs, seen from very close, and enjoy the amazing and unbelievable nature up in the mountains. Our ranger, Tindai, was perfect to drive us in such game 🙂 The rooms at Karoo Lodge were simple and clean with nice bathrooms. The staff is very kind. The whole place looks more like an antique dealer’s home than a 5 star lodge…and this makes you feel like you were in your own house.  The manager told us they are going to refurbish and fix some things, which I understand because it needs to be refreshed and cleaned a bit.
-Airport car delivery: Quick and gentle staff – it took no more than10 min.
So, what can I say? I am looking forward to being in South Africa again, and if we ever have the chance to make this trip a second time, it would be definitely organised by you!
