Natasha’s clients enjoyed a 4 night safari at the Umkumbe Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sand Reserve, a premier reserve located in the Greater Kruger. It appears her guests had a few incredible sightings; including a herd of buffalo crossing the river which is located in front of the lodge.

Our trip was marvellous, in particular Umkumbe Safari Park. You suggested exactly the kind of location that suits our tasts: a small scaled, very well organised lodge, with very friendly staff, excellent food, kind and professional guides, the right level of comfort, etc. When we were asked to fill in the evaluation form, we couldn’t give less than 10 (on a 1-10 scale) on each point. My 10 years old son cried when we left, my 20 years old daughter, who is not really a nature addict, declared that is was one of the best things she ever did.
And of course, we saw a lot of animals, during the drives, but also from the lodge itself (a buffalo family crossing the river, an elephant herd doing the same, a crocodile, a hippo, and so on).
We are considering the possibility of repeating this marvellous experience, perhaps already at the end of August.
I’m really grateful for your precious help and advice and I will contact you as soon as we have taken a decision on our next trip. It will be Umkumbe again, that’s for sure :o)
