Liselle prepared a trip for her guest Peta Sitcheff, where she stayed over at The D’Oreale Grande in Johannesburg, Tanda Tula in the Timbavati Reserve, Simbambili Game Lodge in the Northern Sabi Sand Reserve, Nottens Bush Camp in the Southern Sabi Sand Reserve and Benguerra Lodge in Mozambique. Sorry for the delay here! I must thank you for planning what was the most superb holiday!!!! I’ve never experienced anything like it and it has left a lasting impression!!!!
All transfers were flawless. This was very important to me travelling on my own so thank you :-).
The safari destinations were more than I expected. Tanda Tula and Nottens were the stand outs. They provided a friendly relaxed atmosphere which was very conducive to meeting new people. Great for a lone traveller. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
I found Sambambilli was lovely but the atmosphere quite sterile in comparison. In saying that, their ranger was the best I had and a walking encyclopaedia.
Benguerra was a highlight!! The lodge was great and I did activities everyday. In the evening, the staff invited me to have drinks with them which was heaps of fun. Needless to say, I met a huge number of people, relaxed more than I ever have and am trying to work out how to get back there!
Can you tell me, do you plan trips only for SA/ Mozambique?
Do you look at Namibia or Botswana?
Next year might be a challenge, but I am going to look at it as an option. If not, 2015 a definite.
If you don’t mind, I will recommend you to a few other people here in Australia!!
