Natasha planned a trip for her guests Harold & Myrna Marcus, where they visited the Kruger and stayed over at Simbambili Game Lodge and Kings Camp. Harold shared the following guest feedback:
“Hello Natasha,
Please accept my apologies for not communicating earlier. I was hospitalized with major surgery and am first getting back to normal.
Brief notes on our trip.
Cape Town was absolutely fantastic. Could have, should have spent more time there. We did get to the top of Table Mountain on the only clear day during our visit. Unfortunately, it was our first day in town and we encouraged to take advantage of that day. They were right, during the rest of our stay, there was no other clear day. So we did not get the opportunity to rest after three days of travel.
The two Safari camps we visited far exceeded our expectations. We observed four of the big five on our first safari on the first day. We even were privileged to witness leopards mating. As you know, we were actually in Southern Africa for almost a month. It was the most wonderful experience of any trip we have ever made. We are considering visiting East Africa next year.
I also want to caution you about offering the water hole accommodations.
You may recall that we had considered the waterhole lodge at Simbambili. The price was almost three times that of the other seven rooms. The truth is, the supposed superior location of the “better waterhole view” was no better than the actual room that we used. It definitely was not worth any extra charge.
That aside, the accommodations and the safaris were absolutely spectacular.
