We had such a great time!!!
The first day we had 18 elephants outside our tent! Really wonderful people at Sango. Mostly saw elephants and impalas, not sure if it was the time of year or the concessions. JayJay tried to get a Sango long sleeved khaki shirt for me but we couldn’t make it work out. I would love to have one, size XL, if you can figure a way to ship it to me here in the U.S.
I will post some pictures soon, just got in last night. Jet lag. Had such a fun time holding a meerkat at Spiers Cheetah research (Outreach) center outside of CapeTown. Also had a great time interacting with elephants at Buffelsdrift in Outshorn. They had a winter special R50 bed and breakfast.
Beautiful in the day and freezing at night. Will try to get back to you soon. Thanks for setting us up so well!!!!
