Sorry for the very delayed response – we had a wonderful time in South Africa and especially on safari, it was definitely a highlight! We did see many animals – we saw all of the Big 5, although just a glimpse of a leopard, along with many other animals, such as hippo and giraffes. We even had a herd elephants come down to the watering hole at the lodge a couple of times for a drink! I’ve attached a photo of the elephants visiting along with a shot of a lion 🙂
We really enjoyed Gomo Gomo Game Lodge – the rangers were excellent, and the staff, food and accommodations were all great too.
