Liselle’s clients enjoyed a safari and beach break at the Sango Safari Camp in the Okavango Delta, Peermont Metcourt Hotel in Johannesburg for an overnight stop and a tropical break at the Flamingo Bay water Lodge in Mozambique.
Hi Liselle,
I intended to write and thank you for the superb selection of locations and organisation, your note beat me to it.
Everything was perfect – what more can I say ! We had a total of 12 flights and 4 locations, so amazed that everything went without an hitch or hold-up.
Metcourt is ideal for one night stop. Being attached to Casino complex makes it easy to get food and helps kill time between flights. We even used the shuttle on our way back through Joberg on last day as we had 5 hrs in airport before our flight home. Went to the complex and had something to eat. Time flew by. Much cheaper than going by train to Sandton or taxi to East Rand Mall.
Sango was exceptional. My wife went from a pre-trip sceptic (remember she did not like tents) to complete convert. We were so lucky, for two out of the four days we had safari vehicle to ourselves. Other group staying at the camp went in one vehicle, so we did not have to share. Saw loads of animals and split time between Moremi and local concession, so had the best of both. Food and accommodation very good. Staff and atmosphere perfect.
Flamingo Bay, We both enjoyed relaxed atmosphere. Setting is wonderful. Good value for money. Food and accommodation very good. Lots of Management presence – they must have listened to comments on Trip Advisor.
Lin and I are extremely grateful to you for organising this holiday for us. It exceeded our expectations and will provide lasting memories. We would never have found these locations ourselves. I will recommend you and the team at Sunsafaris to all our friends. It certainly proves the benefit of local knowledge !
Will talk to you next year about finding a Sango type experience somewhere else in Southern Africa. Any suggestions ?
You are a star !
Many thanks,
Jeff and Lin
