Botswana Big Five Safari and Cape Town Luxury

After I sent that message it occurred to me that you would be gone for the weekend. It is hard to keep track of what day it is when on vacation! The transfer was just fine!!

We had a fabulous trip!! I will send some pictures once I have downloaded them.

We loved all three of the camps. They were each different and the wildlife viewing was unique at each!! Thanks for doing a great job in setting them up.

Selinda- the service and staff were terrific and we loved the tent set up for the rooms. The wildlife was more sparse here so it took more driving to find them. But we had a wonderful experience with mating lions and a large group of elephants, with babies, in a mud hole! I loved the campfires in the morning here.

Vumbura was amazing. Of course the rooms are over the top beautiful and comfortable. And they had my favorite outdoor shower :)! But the guide and game viewing there was unbelievable. We saw two kills as they happened, got to know a pride of lions that we spent a bit of time watching and overall had a wide variety of experiences.

Tuba Tree Camp at first seemed a come down from Vumbura, but as we settled in we loved the room in the trees and the beautiful views of the open plain of animals. We saw a leopard here which was quite a treat.

The Victoria and Alfred was in a great location. As you know we changed rooms after we arrived… They were very accommodating and we loved the new room. The Franschhoek Country House was lovely and their shuttle worked out great for the wineries. And the Fairlawns was also lovely!

All of the Ilios people were terrific too. We were amazed at how smoothly everything went!!
