Liselle’s clients stayed at Arathusa Game Lodge in the Sabi Sand region of the Kruger Park, Peermont Metcourt Hotel in Johannesburg and the Simbavati River Lodge in the Kruger’s Timbavati Game Reserve.
Hi Liselle – Happy New Year….. I was meaning to get back to you. We had a fantastic time…From start to finish!!
Here is some feedback….The Peermont whilst not the best hotel we stayed in was perfect for an ‘in transit’ stay. we actually booked a tour of Soweto and some of Jo burg which was good. You feel secure within the confines of the casino- airport and he frees shuttle to the airport is perfect.
It was great to have someone waiting for you at the airport in hoidspruit.
Smooth transfer over to the Simbavati lodge. Very Very hospitable place, you can be in the fanciest place in the world but it makes such a difference when u feel as if the owners are welcoming you into their ‘home’. Charlie and ? Cannot remember his wife’s name were fantastic and always keen to see what animals we had seen, they and their staff were a gem. So we did not have any complaints at all with Simbavati. The setting was fabulous as was the food in both lodges.
The stay in Arathusa was also fantastic. We really enjoyed our drives……the Ranger was very knowledgable and we were well taken care of.
We mangabey to see the big 5 over the two lodges, so you were correct in having us do two as it was good to see some variation. We enjoyed the food and high teas here and it was great to look out over their lake with the Hippos swimming around. Simbavati equally had some great views.
So,overall I will be recommending any friends of mine to head on Safari!
These places are gems….
Will e mail you some great photos !
Thanks again for all your help!
