Celeste’s clients enjoyed a safari in the Kruger and stayed at the nThambo Tree Camp and Simbavati River Lodgein the Timbavati region of the Kruger. They were lucky enough to spot a pack of elusive wild dogs. nThambo Tree Camp and Simbavati are both affordable safari options for the Kruger.

Hi Celeste,
I had a wonderful time!!!! Saw plenty of game including a pack of 28 Wild Dogs – I’m told this is the most endangered animal in SA so to see a pack of 28 was phenomenal!!!!!
The staff at the lodges were fantastic, helpful and knowledgeable. At Simbavati I had Diff as my guide and at Nthambo I had Matt and Enok…the 3 of them were amaaaaaazing!!!!! They went out of their way to make sure we saw as much game as possible and to ensure our safety, comfort and enjoyment. I can’t praise the 3 of them high enough!!! They all went above and beyond the realms of their jobs and made my Safari very special!!!
You will most definitely hear from me when I am next in Africa and I have also passed your email address onto a friend who is planning a safari with his family.
Thank you for all you did and thanks mostly for selecting such fabulous accommodations for me!!! I strongly believe that the staff you get on holidays can make or break the experience for you and I can’t imagine there being any better guides, trackers, waiters, cooks, reception staff, bar tenders, managers and all the other behind the scenes staff than those at Simbavati and Nthambo. The care and service provided by them all was first class and they deserve recognition for making my safari the awesome experience that it was! Please pass my compliments onto both lodges.
Nerrel.
