This Week’s Featured Accommodation: Kaya Mawa Lodge, Lake Malawi

This week I’m in love with this gem of a lodge located on the shores of Lake Malawi.

Lake Malawi is the eighth largest lake in the world and boasts a plethora of tropical fish, making it a great region for snorkelling. Malawi is a humble country known as the “land of smiles” and there’s something remarkably quaint about the region. If you want an alternative to your average your tropical-white-sandy-beach holiday, then consider Lake Malawi. You’ll still have white sandy beaches, warm swimming waters and tropical sun; but it’ll be on the shores of one of Africa’s great lakes.

Kaya Mawa Lodge is the ideal place to stay. Offering seclusion, privacy and remarkable natural surroundings it’s just perfect for a romantic getaway. The lodge is surrounded by Mango trees, boulders, beach and ancient baobabs.
