This monday it is Heritage Day, a public holiday in South Africa where all cultures come together to celebrate their various traditions. It’s designed to bring a sense of community to the country and celebrate differences. This Heritage Day we’d like everyone to remember that it’s also Rhino week, with Rhino Day being on the 22nd September. It seems fitting to remember the heritage of these majestic “unicorns” of the bush that are under threat from poachers.
