Natasha recently arranged a combination Kruger and Panorama Route Safari for her guests. Below is their feedback.
Hi Natasha,
Sorry for the delay in writing to you. Our trip was fantastic! We had high expectations and actually the trip exceeded those expectations!
First of all big thanks to you for your advice and recommendations, particularly for recommending Tanamera! It was gorgeous and they were so welcoming and hospitable and the food was excellent as well! A winner all around and we were so excited to know we would be stopping there on our way back! My husband and I can’t rave enough about it. It was very romantic!
We had a wonderful time at Sabi Sands too. We saw so many animals and were fortunate enough to have Calvin and Mesh as our Ranger/Tracker team. I think they were ‘on loan’ from the Bush Lodge and truly made our safari the incredible experience that it was. As far as the animals, we saw almost everything apart from the male lions. It was amazing. We even saw a leopard with a fresh kill of kudu as he was trying to sort her out (removing abdominal contents) and get her up a tree. It was horrifying and fascinating all at once! Our lodge served kudu that night which everyone had except me – and I haven’t had red meat since! LOL!
Our guide was a fantastic photographer and gave my husband and another member of our safari party private lessons on their camera and photography one day after the morning safari. he also gave them tips for settings as we drove and the light and viewing conditions changed each time out. THAT was truly going above and beyond for them!
We saw the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The landscapes and light were breathtaking. You have a spectacular country! Also, the driving was safe and fun! It was wonderful to experience the landscapes and small towns in between our destinations! We did pick up GPS with the car and never used or needed it.
Natasha, huge kudos to you for your assistance in putting this trip of a lifetime together for us! You truly listened to what I was asking for and guided me perfectly! We felt this trip was perfectly suited for us. Many many thanks for that!
I hope we can some return to Africa soon! I feel left a little piece of my heart there!
