One of Liselle’s guests recently experienced a fantastic safari at Arathusa Safari Lodge. Read his feedback below:
“Hello Liselle,
Thank you so much for arranging my safari and road transfers. Everything worked out perfectly and the safari was one of the best things I have ever done in my life. Arathusa was great, service, food, accomodations were first rate, and on safari I did see all the big 5, although I only saw cape buffalo after dusk so not a great sighting. The only animals on my list I did not get to see was springbok and wild dog. Maybe next year.
Johannesburg was quite delightful and I would have loved to have more than the 3.5 days i spent. In addition to Sandton/Nelson Mandela square, I attended a rugby game in Pretoria, explored Soweto (hector peterson, mandela museum, etc), Soccer City, and walked around central Johannesburg. Not at any point did i ever feel unsafe, although the neighborhood around hillbrow tower was a bit dodgy.
Cape Town was pure magic. When driving on the freeway flyover from the V&A waterfront towards the N1/N2 split, there is one point when you can see the downtown Cape Town skyline framed by table mountain in the background – simply stunning. The drive down to Cape Point is breathtaking, and I had the best fish and chips from a hole in the wall takeaway place in fishhoek. Each morning i started out my day with a brisk 10km run along the waterfront, past green point stadium to sea point and back. Canal Walk had the best looking girls I saw in South Africa. Cape Town made it to #4 on my list of top 10 favorite cities in the world.
Next july 2013 i plan to do Zimbabwe and Victoria falls. I met a girl who told me Windhoek is interesting too, what do you think about Namibia?
I already told 2 friends interested in safari to contact your company, and perhaps you can assist me on my next trip as well.
