Hi natasha, the whole experience was out of this world! its not just a different country it is a different world out there!
Both camps were very different and it gave me a mixture of different bush vegetation which was brilliant!
N’Thambo was lovely it gave me a more ‘in the bush’ feel and allowed me to get to know other guests alot more. Isaac and rein have unbelievable tracking and driving skills out on drive and allowed me to see the whole big five..the Ross pride even had cubs with them when we saw them!
Simbavati was a completely different experience and had a more ‘posh’ feel to the whole place. As soon as we came back from game drives there were staff waiting with warm towels which was much needed. very helpful staff especially the head guide Diff! he is one of the nicest blokes i have come across. Made me feel like a friend not just another tourist. showed me the whole big five in one night, saw 6 leopard in one day including 2 different mothers with cubs. We even saw hyena feasting on a kudu carcass on my last drive which topped the whole adventure off!
Overall I loved them both but Simbavati edges it for game viewing whilst i was out there because i really wanted to see hyena and did so. Other than that it is hard to separate them so thank you for selecting both of those camps for me.
