It was an absolutely amazing trip. The team at Nthambo made sure that this trip was one of the best that I have ever done. The first night was absolutely thrilling as we had a large herd of buffalos grazing literally in the camp. The lions were close and they kept roaring throughout the night so that made it a special introduction to the life in the bush.
I saw the big 5 and loads of other animals, so I am not sure where to start and end. I was hugely impressed by the female leopard Rhulani that was in the area. The grace and beauty of her was one of the highlights of the trip. The camp itself was exactly what I wanted. You felt close to the bush and there were no fences or barriers to spoil this feeling. I would also like to complement the food that they served. This was true South African dishes so I got a taste of the local kitchen. The trip to Blyde River Canyon was another highlight of the trip. The scenery was beautiful and gave me another flavor of what that region has to offer. Thanks a lot for helping me organizing this trip and I will for sure be back.
