Filmed by Dereck and Beverly Joubert, Great Plains Conservation’s co-founders and National Geographic Explorers-in-Residence, it is filmed on location at Duba Plains in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. It tells a story of a lioness struggling to protect her cubs from jealous sisters, maurading males, wild-fires and prey that turn predator.
All proceeds to the film are being put back into Conservation via the National Geographic Big Gats initiative. In addition, any guests visiting Duba Plains, Zarafa Camp, Selinda Camp will contribute at least US$200 per couple to the National Geographic Big Cats Initiative.
