Tanda Tula recently had wonderful leopard sighting. Guests saw and photographed the Rockfig Junior leopard and her young cub. It is the first time that the rangers have had a decent sighting of the cub who it is estimated is 3 to 4 months old. It was difficult to tell the sex of the cub at this early stage.
Although the rangers kept the vehicle a respectful distance, and as the youngster slowly trotted behind its watchful mother, the rangers and guests noticed that the leopard cub had the most beautiful blue eyes!
Mr Adrie Conradie, managed to get a wonderful sequence of shots of the youngster moving in and around its mother.
The Kruger Private Reserves is considered the best wildlife area for quality close up game viewing of wild leopards.
