What a trip – flawless execution.
Just returned and really wanted to send you a note to say – Great job – the lodges where great – one each very different from the other – and we had a great time.
Chapungu was quiet with only one other guest. Warren and Jennifer were great hosts – and Warren was a great Ranger – we spent many hours out in the bush discussing every detail of animal, bird, and tree which was a great way to start things off.
Simbavati was very social and busy – many South Africans on holiday (school out) and Australians – we had great conversations by the fire and met some very nice people.
Arathusa – our lodge was bigger than our apartment in Manhattan and the food was outstanding – the grounds were beautiful and the people where very nice there as well.
Savannah – what a way to end a trip. The people where very nice, it was like one big family – we really enjoyed out time there – the schedule for game drives worked the best here and it was a perfect place to end our trip. it was hard to say goodbye to the great staff that work there – we are going back at some point.
The transports where great – prompt and absolutely no concerns.
So now that we are back we have inquiries from our friends:
If we had put together a trip of just Arathusa and Savannah for three nights – how much are we looking at?
Also, Nick from the transport company said you could provide some information regarding Zulu Battlefield Tours – this topic came up in our drive to Nelspruit – it is a trip Eileen has always wanted to go on (she is a History Teacher).
By the way our friend Kate Thomes worked with one of your colleagues to arrange her trip which comes up in a few weeks.
Anyway – thanks for putting together such a great trip for us – we really appreciate it.
And any information you can send will be appreciated.
Thanks and Take care,
George
