Hi Natasha
We have been home for a month already from our South Africa Safari and Port Plettenburg trip. It’s hard to believe that time goes that quickly. I just wanted to let you know how FANTASTIC the trip was. The weather was cold at the beginning and the end but we managed 3 or 4 great days on safari and the rest of the time the weather was fine for what we were doing. The Garden route’s highlight was the Swartsburg pass. What a drive to the top of the world!
The Africa on Foot was very special in that the driver, tracker and cook became like family. Jason, Daniel and Christine treated us like a king and queen. The accommodations were excellent in that they afforded us a “rustic” approach to a safari. It was very romantic. We didn’t see a lot of animals due to the cold and windy weather but the gang kept us well informed of the animals we did see. We especially loved the walk in the bush.
Simbavati was an entirely different experience due to the river and the ABUNDANCE of wildlife we were able to see. The only thing I think was not in the area were the white lions. Omega and Aurella went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything else on the list. It was fantastic.
Natasha, thank you so much for the wonderful job you did in rebooking our trip. We are so appreciative of everyone who let us postpone our safari and reimbursed our flights so that we could rebook and enjoy the best trip of our lives. Your recommendations of hotels and safaris was suberb! Thanks again
God Bless you
