Janelle’s client, Ben, enjoyed a wonderful safari in the Sabi Sand. Ben’s Umkumbe Safari Lodge Adventure proved to be a first rate experience, and one that he hopes to repeat one day.

We arrived back last week, it was an amazing trip full on adventure and surprises we had such a good time we were exhausted when we came back.
The Safari was an absolute highlight, the Umkumbe owners were fantastic, I couldn’t recommend them more highly. The owners were really amazing, they organised a series of walks and trips. They informed us about so much history and knowledge on the fauna and flora from the area. I thought we were only going to do 2 safari’s though we ended up doing 4 separate trips over the 2 days. The food was great, really tasty and healthy, the accommodation was 1st rate, clean and warm rooms for the cool evenings. I took my Dad along from Australia and then my girlfriend from here, they catered for all our respective needs, when we return to the Kruger we will certainly return to the Umkube lodge.
I haven’t downloaded all my pictures yet, but I will send you a couple of select ones. We saw elephants, rhino, buffalo, impala, apes, gorillas and many other wonderful creatures. Some people saw a leopard and we tried to track it down though didn’t have any success.
Thank you for organising all the details for the trip, it really made it a pleasure knowing you were behind the organisation. I could rely on what you had organised, the lodge, car and instructions were fantastic, appreciate your careful consideration for us and most of all the patience with all the emails I sent 🙂 .
