Hi Natasha,
For some reason your email ended up in my trash folder (along with several others) and I can’t quite figure out why, hence this late response. The holiday was fantastic thank you, I actually reviewed it on TripAdvisor.

Thanks again for helping us come right with our holiday!
Warm Regards,

Christopher

My wife and I just returned from Changa Safari Camp after spending several wonderful days there for our honeymoon. I guess the best way to critique a place to is break it down:

Hospitality: Excellent, the rooms were clean, the free daily laundry service was a brilliant touch and all amenities were top class. We also experienced a dinner in the middle of the bush which was an unbelievable touch that I have no words to truly explain. The hosts (Hanna and Jo) were incredible, all staff were amazing too.

Activities: Bit of a gripe here and I feel that it’s important to share: Game drives happen between 06h00 and 18h00, there aren’t night drives and that’s something to keep in mind. Furthermore, if you’re wanting to see wildlife, it’s probably not the best place. Due to water levels and the likes, there are not many animals. We saw hippo’s, elephants and crocs but it ended there. A bit disappointing. Fishing is a beautiful experience, but I should caution you that tiger fishing needs to be done from October onwards. It also wasn’t made clear to us that there’s a $15/day per person to enter the park.

A special mention needs to go to our guide, Kingsley. Kingsley is one of a kind, he single handedly made our experience what it was. His knowledge is truly amazing, his ability to go above and beyond comes naturally and we will forever remember his kind nature.

If you’re looking for a beautiful and peaceful place to retreat to for a few days, then this is definitely the spot to go to. If you’re looking for animals then perhaps do a little more research as you may feel a tad let down.

We loved our stay.
