The safari at KwaMbili was BRILLIANT!

Mel and Niel are lovely and the place was just what we were looking for – very lovely but not too full on and nice and small. All the staff were fantastic including the guides and chefs.

We are so pleased that we stayed in a private lodge rather than in Kruger as it was amazing to have giraffes and warthogs, kudo and others wandering around us all day!

We payed extra to have 2 safari drives to the south which was fine as we had an amazing time, but would have been good to understand a little more about the structure of the drives and where we would go (although it must be very difficult as this depends so much on the weather).

Both were absolutely fantastic!. I can’t tell you what a great time we had. We met some really super people both the trackers, guides and staff but also our fellow lodgers. Weather was perfect and all in all just superb. We got to see all the animals (with the exception of a leopard) and they were just incredible experiences.

It was great trip and yes we were lucky to see big fives. Unfortunately weather in Cape Town wasn’t cooperative, rain and clouds, but I guess it is out of your jurisdiction. Thank you for excellent arrangements.

Flying to SA/Botswana – we thought that by travelling on international first class we would be immune to jet lag and fatigue – but hell no we were completely smashed on arrival at Vic Falls. The wait at immigration in Zimbabwe was disgraceful and the last straw on a long trip– I have done the falls before and they have not improved immigration in 25 years!! Get rid of Mugabe! Next time we will break up the trip so we arrive refreshed.
